Skiing and snowboarding

local and visiting skiers and snowboarders can enjoy their favorite sport in the 42 trails, the Olympic halfpipe, and the 4 snow parks spread across 3 mountains. Offering one of the largest night skiing terrains in the country, Stoneham is also renowned for the vibrant atmosphere of the Quatre-Foyers bar and the delicious food served at the Feu-Follet restaurant, both located a few steps away from the Hotel. The perfect combination : epic riding, great food and fabulous après-ski !

Located on the Main Chalet terrace near bar Le Quatre-Foyers, the Arctic Spas Zone is the perfect place to relax with friends, or alone. Enjoy both our hot tubs free of charge and come unwind, drink in hand. Towel rentals [$5] and lockers [$4] through Guest Services.

Ice skating

enjoy our rectangular-shaped skating rink at the base of the mountain (near chairlift A). Free access. Rental equipment is available at Sports Alpins.

Le Nordique Spa et Détente

Located on the banks of the majestic Jacques-Cartier river, with an astonishing view on the river valley, Le Nordique spa Stoneham offers Scandinavian-style relaxation based on alternating heat and cold.
Finnish saunas, Turkish steam bath, outdoor hot tubs, Nordic bath, and massage therapy are available to complement a wonderful outdoor experience in a pure, natural environment.

Village Vacances Valcartier

North America's largest winter playground features more than 35 slides for the whole family. Scream with excitement on the Himalaya, Everest or in the Avalanche sector. You can slide on an individual inner tube, or whirl down on the Tornado, a huge tube that can accommodate 3 to 8 people. Or whizz down the slopes on a snow raft that can hold up to 12 people! There's a children's playground for the little ones. The site also features 17 mechanical lifts.

Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier

Dress warmly and hike the snowy Chemin du Parc-National from the Discovery and Visitors Centre to Pont Banc (8-km hike). This trail runs along the Jacques-Cartier River and features breathtaking views on the surrounding mountains and the Sautauriski River delta.

Ice Hotel

The only ice hotel in North America. Made entirely of snow and ice, this architectural marvel is a wonder to behold. Explore the beautiful Great Hall, chapel, ice slide, exhibitions and Ice Bar. You can spend the night in one of the themed suites (and get to use the outdoor spa and sauna) or try a delicious cocktail served in a glass made of ice. The Hôtel de Glace is perfect for a wintry romantic retreat or a get-together for family or friends.

Aventures Nord Bec

This first-rate recreational site in the Jacques-Cartier Valley specializes in dogsledding. Mountain survival course in the winter and summer. Possibility of a helicopter tour over the Jacques-Cartier Valley when the weather is good. But first and foremost, we share our passion and love of dogs.

Camp Mercier

Camp Mercier is renowned as an excellent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing centre. Set in Réserve faunique des Laurentides, less than an hour from the city of Québec, it offers classic and skate skiers and snowshoers a wide variety of trails along with a very long season (even lasts into April), gorgeous scenery and unparalleled views!
